OXFORD Brookes regained their eights title at the British Senior Championships, writes John Wiggins.
They dominated proceedings at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham, to beat champions Leander.
Their crew of Henry Blois-Brooke, Oliver Wilkes, Michael Glover, Joshua Bugajski, Rory Gibbs, Sam Nunn, Henry Swarbrick, Morgan Bolding and cox, Harry Brightmore triumphed by a length.
In the fours, Isis BC (Oxford University) were second ahead of Brookes.
Oxford won the University Shield in the women’s lightweight eights and also claimed victory in the C final of the quads, as did the
Dark Blues’ men.
Radley College BC were seventh in the Youth Eights at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, USA.
