CHENEY School has put out an appeal for memories, stories and artefacts of pioneering women who have served their communities.
The school will host a collection day seeking stories called Pioneering Women, Women’s Suffrage and WW1.
Contributors are asked to bring in any photographs, diaries, letters, medals or souvenirs that have been kept, or stories that have been passed down for the digital collection day.
The school is also collecting First World War items and stories which will form part of a new web site launch to coincide with Armistice Day on November 11.
The contributors event will be held between 2pm and 5pm at the school’s Rumble Museum on November 2.
