THE trial of an Oxford couple accused of sending money to their Muslim convert son after he allegedly joined Islamic State has been delayed.
Organic farmer John Letts, 58, and Sally Lane, 56, of Chilswell Road, allegedly sent Jack Letts, now 23, a total of £1,723 between September 2015 and January 2016.
It is alleged that they had reasonable cause to suspect the money would or might be used for terrorist purposes.
The parents, who have denied three charges of funding terrorism, appeared at the the Old Bailey for the start of their trial today.
The case is now expected to open on Monday.
