THIEVES hopped aboard a narrowboat moored on the Oxford Canal and stole electrical items.
The burglars boarded the boat, which was on the canal near the Isis Lock sometime between 1am and 9am on Tuesday.
They managed to get inside by forcing open a side door.
Once successfully inside the canal boat, the burglars searched the interior before making off with a video camera and a projector.
Witnesses are urged to contact police on 101.
