A GRIEVING family has paid tribute 'inspirational' Thomas Nelson, from Wallingford, who has been named as the victim of Friday's crash near Bicester.
Mr Nelson died when his BMW car collided with a pedestrian along the A41, veered off the road and crashed into a tree near the Wendlebury Interchange.
Police yesterday named the 29-year-old and shared a tribute from the family.
The statement said: "Tom was a superb and inspirational chef. He lived life to the full and will always be remembered by all for his humour and generosity. He was a best friend to so many and loved in return.
"His untimely death has left so many hearts broken and he will always be an enormous and irreplaceable loss to his family and friends.”
