BOTLEY Road is moving freely again this morning after emergency roadworks were completed overnight.
A burst water main near the junction with Ferry Hinksey Road caused long delays on the roads yesterday with much of the city centre at a standstill.
Thames Water installed three-way traffic lights while staff worked to fix the problem for much of the day.
On Sunday morning the roadworks appeared to have been completed with the emergency lights turned off and the road fully reopen.
