Alongside Peugeot's new 308 five-door hatchback at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September will be the 308 RC Z concept car.
The concept is a 2-plus-2 coupe, powered by a 1.6-litre, turbo-charged petrol engine previously seen in the 207 GTi.
The 147mph concept's front end is taken directly from the 308 - launched in the UK in September - but has been given a sharper and sportier lower panel incorporating the single air intake, chrome front grille, and integral front fog lights.
The curved shape of the roof panel and rear window also creates enough rear down-draught to eliminate the need for a rear spoiler.
