NORTH Hinksey Parish Council will meet tonight to discuss plans for a new pavilion, skatepark and play facilities in Botley.
The council will be asked to approve a motion to for the Rejuvenation of Louie Memorial Pavilion and Playing Fields plans.
If the motion is passed the parish council will look to submit a planning application to the Vale of White Horse District Council before December 2018.
The meeting will take place in the new Seacourt Hall located on the second floor of the Grant Thornton Building from 8pm tonight.
After a gang of thieves rammed a car into the 'Botley Bowl' skate park and set it alight in 2010, Botley has been left with a giant hole and few leisure facilities to offer, in particular for youngsters.
For years, residents and councillors have been campaigning to see its rebirth and have also established a Louie Memorial Pavilion trust, in a bid to refurbish the building.
