Police are people to be on the lookout for a stolen computer worth £1,000 taken during a burglary from a house in Kennington.
The white iMac computer, with 20in widescreen monitor, was stolen from a house in Edward Road, Kennington, some time between Sunday, August 12, and Saturday, August 19. Officers only made the public appeal for information today.
Det Con Chris Leech, of Abingdon CID, said: "It is likely that the thieves may try to sell the computer on as it is worth about £1000.
"I would like to appeal to anyone who may have been offered the computer or seen anything suspicious in the area at the time."
Anyone with information should contact police on 08458 505505 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
