POLIE today appealed for help after a £1,000 white iMac computer with a 20-inch widescreen monitor was stolen from a house in Edward Road, Kennington.
Det Con Chris Leech, of Abingdon CID, said: "It is likely that the thieves may try to sell the computer on as it is worth about £1,000.
"I would like to appeal to anyone who may have been offered the computer or seen anything suspicious in the area at the time."
Anyone with any information about the incident, which happened between August 12-19, should contact Det Con Leech at Abingdon police station via 0845 8 505 505, or if you do not want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
