Celebrity writers, including broadcasters James Naughtie and Clarissa Dixon-Wright, will rub shoulders with independent booksellers at an Oxford conference entitled Preparing for the Future.
The Small Business Forum (SBF), the Booksellers Association's independent bookseller group, is holding the conference at the Randolph Hotel, on September 24.
A trade show at the Kassam Stadium the previous day will be followed by an SBF drinks reception and dinner at the Randolph, sponsored and hosted by Hodder and Stoughton, with authors including Jasper Fforde and Pam Ayres, as well as Mr Naughtie and Ms Dixon-Wright.
The trade show, conference and dinner are free to BA members. To register, telephone Naomi Gane on 020 7802 0802 or email naomi.gane@booksellers.org.uk
