A TELEVISION documentary series about pioneering East Oxford children's hospice Helen and Douglas House is being rescreened this week.
The Children of Helen House was screened from January to March on BBC2 and will be shown this week on satellite channel UKTV People.
The series starts tonight at 9pm and two episodes will be shown each night until Thursday, August 23.
Sister Frances Dominica, who set up the hospice in Magdalen Road, said: "We thought very hard before becoming involved with this documentary, not least about the idea of having a film crew with us for over a year!
"Most of the children and young people who stay with us have progressive degenerative conditions and living with the reality of that can often be a frightening, frustrating and lonely existence for both them and their families.
"With this in mind we found that many of the families wanted to tell their story, to tell the world just what they have to go through and how Helen House and Douglas House have been able to share a little of their load."
