DRIVERS were delayed this morning when a lorry hit a tree, damaging a nearby electricity pole.
The B4449 at Stanton Harcourt was closed for 90 minutes following the accident at 8am, as Southern Electric staff worked to restore power for 30 homes in the nearby village of Sutton.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said paramedics did not attend the incident.
Drivers were forced to seek local diversions while the road was closed. It reopened to traffic about 9.30am.
