AN APPEAL has been launched by a hotel after planning permission to build extra rooms on neighbouring land was denied.
The Tree Hotel, in Church Way, Iffley, had submitted plans for a one-storey building with seven rooms and to convert an outbuilding.
The council's South East Area Committee decided against the plans in January on the basis it was not in keeping with the conservation area.
A decision will now be made by a planning inspector.
