Like Eric Edwards (Oxford Mail, August 13, Where are they?), I too am bewildered over the disappearance of the police.
I thought I saw one the other day, but as it was a hot day, it turned out to be a mirage.
But, wow, hold fire - apparently five police cars raced to Osney when a woman TV reporter had her bottom pinched. So after this serious incident, I think we can sleep safely in our beds. Hoorah: they are around.
