Myspace was quite prophetic for Christie Hollstrom who won a competition through the networking site for her heart-throb, Calvin Harris, to perform in her home.
Myspace has certainly been part of the internet revolution. In the old days musicians had to rely on the whims and tastes of A&R men.
At least it would have spared the blushes of Dick Rowe, the man at Decca who rejected The Beatles.
