One of three men police believe may hold vital information in an unsolved murder investigation has come forward after an appeal in the Oxford Mail.

Police issued photographs of three men seen speaking to Enayit Khalili, 26, in an Oxford bookmakers only days before he was stabbed to death in Fiennes Road in Rose Hill, Oxford, in March.

One of the men has now spoken to police, but detectives are still appealing for the two other men featured in the appeal to come forward.

None of the three men are considered to be suspects in the murder investigation.

Hundreds of appeal posters in both English and Dari have been put up around the city and there is a £5,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.

DI Colin Seaton added: "It is important we find these three men because we believe they may be able to add something to the investigation.
