Two lorry drivers were in a critical condition this morning following a head-on collision near the Oxfordshire-Gloucestershire border.
The crash happened at 1.50am on the A40 west of Burford, and one driver was trapped in his vehicle before he was taken by air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. The other victim was taken to the JR by land ambulance.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: "Both drivers suffered life-threatening injuries."
