A motorsport firm has reassured residents it will not be creating noise nuisance in the countryside and will bring extra trade to the area.
Vision Motor Sport has won planning permission to run high-performance cars as a novelty day out on land at the eastern end of Enstone airfield.
The go-ahead was given by district council planners, despite objections about noise from residents.
Planning officers and councillors monitored noise levels on two test days in February and May and decided they were not grounds for refusal. But they have imposed a strict set of conditions, including use limited to 90 days a year, no more than six cars on the track and hours of use from 9am to 6pm.
The owners of the husband and wife business, Shelley and Dave Nutt, said they were working within noise level limits.
"We're local people and we obviously don't want to upset anyone living near here," said Mrs Nutt.
"We're bringing a lot of tourism to this area and, in today's age, you have to bring some leisure into plans."
The council had previously rejected applications to use the airfield, including one from the BBC programme Top Gear.
