OXFORDSHIRE County Council's social care access team has been awarded a Charter Mark standard, the national Government award for excellent customer service in the public sector.
Charter Mark assessor John Thurgood said the team offered "immediate benefit to customers" and that "satisfaction levels are high".
Lorraine Cheshire, team manager, said: "I'm very proud of all the staff."
