THREE community groups in East Oxford are being found new homes after the building they are based in was declared unsafe.
B Block, behind East Oxford Community Centre, can no longer be used after being in poor condition for some time.
Oxford City Council is working to find alternative office and teaching space.
Tim Sadler, executive director for Sustainable City, said: "We recently became aware of deterioration in the structure of B Block and appointed an independent structural surveyor to look at the building."
He said the surveyor found the structure was no longer safe to use and the building was closed on Friday morning.
Mr Sadler added: “B Block will remain closed until the planned redevelopment of the East Oxford Community Centre site next year.”
