AN anti-war protester has been cleared of trespassing.
A group of eight campaigners, who faced charges relating to an incident at Prestwick Airport in Scotland last year, claimed signs on the seven-mile fence were not legally enforceable.
Sarah Lasenby, 69, of Tawney Street, near Morrell Avenue, Oxford, told Ayr Sheriff Court that signs did not refer to the Civil Aviation Act 1982.
Charges of trespassing were thrown out by Sheriff John Montgomery.
