An eight-year-old Oxfordshire boy suffered cuts and bruises after falling from a cliff while on holiday in Cornwall.
The boy, who has not been named, was climbing cliffs at Polstreath beach, near Mevagissey, on Saturday morning.
He had got to the top of the cliff, grabbed hold of a patch of grass, which came away in his hand and caused him to fall between 20ft and 30ft.
The youngster suffered a bashed hip and rib cage, cuts and bruising, but was not thought to be seriously hurt.
He was airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro by the Cornwall Air Ambulance. Brixham Coastguard cleared the beach to allow the helicopter to land.
A spokesman for Brixham Coastguard said: "The boy fell quite a distance, but luckily bounced at the bottom and was not badly injured. He suffered minor injuries and a bit of bleeding."
Insp Steve Whitney, of Devon and Cornwall Police, said officers did not attend the incident.
