OXFORD'S Botanic Garden has applied for a licence to sell alcohol for the first time.
The university institution wants to be able to stock its new Oxford Physic Gin, which it is producing with The Oxford Artisan Distillery in South Park.
The gin, made with herbs in the garden, will be sold in the gift shop.
