IT'S nearly six months since dockless bikes burst onto the scene in Oxford but the jury is still out on whether the people of the city have embraced the bike-sharing culture.
In the early days in August the bikes were initially discovered in a number of unhelpful places, such as the middle of Frideswide Square and in back gardens.

Recent months have seen an improvement as all four companies scheme's - Ofo, Pony, oBike and Mobike - have been well used across the city.
But freelance writer Feng Gu came across a Pony bike perched on top of a bus shelter in Cowley Road yesterday.
The independent musician Tweeted the picture and said: "Wow, bicycle-sharing.
"Just on the top of a bus stop shelter in Oxford."
A code of conduct produced by Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council requires users to park the bikes near existing racks.
It also said companies would create marking spaces next to racks for the dockless bikes.
