A DATE has been set for fourth Tandem Festival of music and the environment in West Oxfordshire.
The three-day celebration of good vibrations and sustainable living will be held for a second year at Lower Farm in Ramsden, near Charlbury, from June 22 to 24, 2018.
'Super early-bird' tickets are now on sale at £59.73 for an adult camping pass or £30.17 for a young person's ticket (13 to 17 years old).
Announcing the dates online, organisers said: "Tandem Festival celebrates culture, fosters cooperation and inspires change, and we’re back for our fourth edition.
"Cycle powered, volunteer fuelled and community led, Tandem brings you different worlds of music, art, talks, workshops, film screenings and food. At Tandem, what’s good for your ears, eyes and dancing shoes can be good for the planet too."
This year's festival, which organisers said was a roaring success, featured music from funk to Bach and late-night DJs and workshops on disco yoga, food waste and 'feminism for dads'.
This year's festival was also a celebration of the life of long-term team member Claudia Comberti, who was killed while cycling along Botley Road in Oxford in May, when she slipped off her bike and was hit by a bus.
The first Tandem was held at Hill End Outdoor Education Centre in Farmoor in 2014.
Organisers said they wanted to create a festival that brought art together with talks and workshops on social and environmental issues.
The festival was held at the centre again in 2015 but the third instalment due to take place in 2016 was cancelled due to funding problems.
This year's festival at the new location in Ramsden was the third, and saw more than 200 performers take part, from folk culture to funk and prog-rock bands.
