Bookmakers have slashed the odds on a white Christmas for Oxfordshire, with William Hill offering 4/1 on snowfall at any time during Christmas Day.
It represents the lowest odds seen in several years, and considerably lower than last year’s offering of 12/1.
Bookies say for a winning bet, there needs to be a single snowflake recorded at the weather station at Oxford Airport.
It follows heavy snowfall this weekend, which has caused disruption across the county.
