A FROST-FILLED landscape greeted Camera Club members during a visit to Blenheim Palace.
With a shining winter sun, it proved the perfect opportunity to snap some stunning pictures of the historic building’s grounds.
A group from the Oxford Mail’s dedicated Camera Club braved the cold on Saturday morning as part of a meet up led by the paper’s chief photographer Ed Nix in which he took them on a walk around the grounds,
He said: “The original idea was to get some early morning mist coming off the lake which looks amazing. Unfortunately that didn’t happen so we improvised and I think still got some really great pictures.”
He added: “As all photographers know, the best lighting to take a picture with is when the sun is just coming up or setting, so early morning was the ideal time to visit.”
He added he hoped to be able to revisit Blenheim Palace sometime before Christmas with Camera Club members so they could photograph the Christmas light trail in its’ full glory.
Full details of future meetings, as well as pictures shared by members, are available on the Camera Club Facebook page.
