Lowly Didcot looked poised to pull off a shock win at promotion-chasing Stokenchurch in Division 4 when rain called an early halt to proceedings.
But in gaining 12 points the South Oxfordshire outfit climbed one point above Buckingham Town 2nd and out of the relegation zone.
Put into bat, Didcot managed a competitive 172, thanks to skipper Matt Jones's 62 before being bowled by Arshad Latif (6-36).
Simon Pritchard (3-31) then helped reduce the home side to 60-5 from 19.5 overs when rain stopped play.
Stokenchurch 7pts, Didcot 12.
The only other game in the division to start was at Bicester & North Oxford 2nd, who made 183-9 after being asked to bat by leaders Wolverton Town.
Mark Fitzsimons hit 80, while Hakim Khan took 4-37, but no play was possible after tea.
Bicester & N Oxford 2nd 10pts, Wolverton 10.
Remaining games in the division were abandoned
