A RAGING inferno scorched lorries at a Banbury business.
Three LGVs were gutted by flames early this morning, at Bidvest Logistics in Dorcas Road.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Banbury, Hook Norton, Deddington and Brackley to tackle the flames, after being called out at 5.44am.
Releasing dramatic images this afternoon, the service said the fire was 'rapidly developing' and there were fears it could spread to nearby vehicles.
Firefighters managed to hose the flames down and prevent further damage, and the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
No-one was injured and crews are no longer on the scene, but a warning has been issued to businesses.
A station manager said: "This incident demonstrates the need for businesses to have sound business continuity plans and staff training.
"In this incident, the quick response of the company staff to move other closely parked vehicles certainly prevented a greater loss of property."
Bidvest Logistics provides distribution services to clients in the food industry, including well-known restaurant and fast food brands.
