A DRUG dealing addict sold heroin and cocaine stashed inside Kinder Eggs to pay off a £2,000 debt he had taken out with a gang of criminals.

Stephen Fine, of Tarragon Drive, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, was busted after police raided his home on November 10 and found 10 wraps of heroin and 19 wraps of cocaine, as well as £600.

They also seized the 55-year old's mobile phone which contained videos, one of which was played at his sentencing at Oxford Crown Court yesterday, showing drug deals being carried out.

The court heard he had made the recordings 'for protection' after the criminals he dealt drugs for to pay off his debt would hold him to account if buyers stole any of the drugs without paying.

The video also showed how the drugs were packed up and hidden inside the chocolate eggs before being sold out of his home address.

Fine had taken out the debt, the court heard, to settle a rent arrears after he had been denied employment support allowance after suffering from depression.

Speaking from behind the dock Fine told the court: "Due to the circumstances I was in I felt I had nowhere to turn.

"I know I am guilty of what I was accused of but I regret it, that;;s all I can say."

Ultimately, Fine was given a 38-month prison sentence for each offence of possessing with intent to supply heroin and cocaine, to run concurrently.
