CONCERNS have been raised about the erosion of road markings on a busy Oxford roundabout.
White lines marking safe passage across Littlemore Roundabout have faded, prompting complaints to Oxfordshire County Council about potentially ‘dangerous’ implications for drivers.
A resident wrote on the council’s Fix My Street website last week: “People do not stay in their lanes and cross over where they should not. There is a significant risk of accidents due to poor lane discipline.”
Several people at Rose Hill Tenants’ and Residents’ Association echoed the same point at a meeting earlier this month.
City councillor Ed Turner agreed to notify the county council of their concerns.
