A CHARITY festival held at the weekend smashed previous fundraising totals, collecting nearly £11,000.
But Restore, the organisers of the Elder Stubbs Festival, wants to reach a symbolic total of £13,000 so it can use the money to pay for a support worker for six months.
At its Saturday festival, held at the Elder Stubbs Allotments in Cowley, it raised £10,950.75.
Last year it raised £7,307.84 – with the total down on 2015’s because of poor weather.
In 2015 the charity raised £10,063.02 and that was up from £8,662.69 in 2014.
