But he made the headlines by taking a hat-trick in Banbury Twenty 2nd's 100-run win over Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd.
Assif Hussain was stranded on 99 not out when Twenty's innings closed on 242-4.
Kirk Brazier (56) then took Town to 109-1 before Wedderburn (5-37) and Steve Partington (4-8) ripped through the rest.

Ten-man Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd were staring down the barrel of an embarrassing defeat when they were bowled out for 102 by lowly Thame Town 2nd, for whom Chris Brougham took 4-13.
Thanks to Steve Carvey (4-26) and Craig Lambert (4-40), a couple of hours later they were celebrating a two-run win and returning to the top of the table.

Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd collapsed to 76 all out at Aston Rowant 2nd - and dropped from second to sixth in the table as a result.
Chris Davies took 4-25 for Rowant, who lost three wickets before easing home.

Stanton St John Willows matched their best performance of the season by collecting 11 points, but they still suffered defeat at Banbury 3rd.
Ashley Pike top-scored with 38 in Willows' 158 all out, which the hosts passed for the loss of five wickets.

James Collett (65), David Hanson (62) and Paul Close (44) took Bourton Vale 2nd to 196-4 and a six-wicket win at Oxford 3rd.
Earlier, Matthew Keyte had taken 6-114 in a marathon spell as Oxford reached 192-8.
