Cher Busby-Dawson, 42, of The Glebe, Culham, admitted living in a property where she knowingly permitted or suffered to take place the production of cannabis, a class B drug, in Abingdon on September 13 last year. Jailed for 14 days and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Ali Kalama, of Dalton Barracks, Faringdon Road, Shippon, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Park End Street, Oxford, on August 6 last year. Handed an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £30 costs.

Darren New, 44, of Gibbs Crescent, Oxford, was convicted of having a black handled kitchen knife in The Cow and Creek pub, in Oxford, between May 15 and May 20 last year. Fined £180 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

Sean Jones, 54, of no fixed abode, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in St Aldates, Oxford, on February 17. Also admitted assaulting Alan Sheehan by beating him in Oxford on January 25. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order. Handed a two-week sentence, suspended for 12 months. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.

Kira Rogers, 23, of no fixed abode, admitted possessing one wrap of crack cocaine and one wrap of diamorphine, both class A drugs, in Gloucester Street, Oxford, on January 6. Fined £40 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

Kirsty McFarlane, 26, of Morrell Crescent, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Morrell Crescent, Littlemore, Oxford, on November 26 last year. Also admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty in Littlemore on the same date. Also admitted causing less than £100-worth of criminal damage by damaging a police van belonging to Thames Valley Police in Wheatley on the same date. Also admitted stealing a charity box belonging to Alzheimer’s Society and Sainsbury’s in Oxford on November 30 last year. Also admitted stealing a bottle of Courvoisier and two half-legs of lamb worth £58.61 from Marks and Spencer, in Queen Street, Oxford, on January 12. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence order. Trevor Grant, 39, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing meat worth £35 from Co-op, in Longelandes Way, Banbury, on October 10 last year. Also admitted stealing meat worth £28 from the same store on November 13 last year. Also admitted stealing £30-worth of lamb joints from Co-op, in Ferriston Road, Banbury. on January 25.
