Stunning views of south Oxfordshire could soon hit the big and small screen.

Wallingford company Aerial Motion Pictures, which trains customers to fly drones safely, has launched its own video production company.

Staff say Cineflow will bring expertise in aerial operations and award-winning documentary skills together to provide a complete video production package.

Founded by Matt Williams, a former helicopter instructor with thousands of manned flying hours, Aerial Motion Pictures has invested in state-of-the-art drone and camera stabilisation technology.

The company at Howbery Park, Crowmarsh Gifford, specialises in capturing smooth footage from the air, on the ground and even underwater.

It has already provided aerial cinematography to promote many different companies and events, including footage captured above Camden Roundhouse in London for the Apple Music Festival.

Father-of-two Mr Williams, 32, who runs the company with wife Natalie, and was based at RAF Benson before he retired from the Royal Air Force, said: "Having worked for a number of years offering our aerial expertise to numerous production companies, it was only a matter of time before we combined our resources to offer a full video production service ourselves.

"Cineflow will offer promotional and corporate video, commercials, documentary filming, training films and web videos, as well as time lapse and 360-degree virtual reality."

Donna Bowles, estates manager for Howbery Business Park, said: "It’s good to see Aerial Motion Pictures expanding their business on the park.

"Cineflow has just produced a 360-degree tour of the park’s conference facilities for us, which means potential customers will now be able to take a virtual tour of all the different rooms we have to offer before they visit."

Cineflow has also produced a film from inside Wallingford Corn Exchange, to highlight its ongoing roof fund appeal.

The original glass roof is in need of restoration to prevent damage to the historic Victorian building.

Aerial Motion Pictures was one of the UK’s first companies providing practical knowledge needed for full Civil Aviation Authority Commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle certification to fly a drone.

The firm offers commercial training courses for individuals and companies who use drones, and also sells drones to the public, as well as businesses.

Mr Williams was a helicopter instructor with the RAF for 13 years, rising to the rank of Flight Lieutenant before he left to concentrate on his business.

In December he warned people buying drones for Christmas to take care when using them and reminded them they should not fly a drone within 50 metres of people, vessels, vehicles or structures.

He also said 400ft was the maximum height for a drone and without a permission for commercial operation people using one needed to stay 150 metres away from congested areas.

Howbery Business Park, owned by HR Wallingford, has a diverse range of businesses on site including major occupiers such as the Environment Agency.
