IS YOUR bike among the 160 seized by police following a house search in Oxford?
Police have said they will reunite any stolen bikes - found in the back garden of house in Littlemore - with their owners.
The bikes were found after officers stopped a man in the Littlemore area of Oxford pushing one bike and carrying another at around midday on Monday.
Details of the bikes were taken and were later found to be reported as stolen.
The following day, the force went to the Littlemore home of a man, 48, to arrest him on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
While there they discovered 164 bikes in the back garden that could not be accounted for.
Officers are currently working through these seized bikes to ascertain whether they have been reported as stolen.
The 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. He has been bailed until May 8 while the investigation continues.
