Elderly Carterton residents enjoy the town's Christmas Lunch Club
MORE than 30 people from Carterton enjoyed a special Christmas lunch hosted by the town's mayor.
Carterton's Christmas Lunch Club for senior citizens, held in the town hall on Thursday, December 8, invited elderly people living in the town to come and enjoy a meal with mayor Lynn Little.
On the day guests were served with four different kinds of soup, turkey, finished off with mince pies.
Mrs Little extended her thanks to Michael Bennett, Blesson Kallimel, Scott Edwards, Tan Marchant and others who helped make the event a success.
