A CYCLIST was checked over by ambulance crews this evening after colliding with a car on Turl Street.
The incident took place at about 6.40pm in the direction of Oxford High Street.
Oxford Bus Company initially reported delays of up to 30 minutes in the city centre as a result of the incident.

South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher said "There were no obvious injuries for the cyclist other than a possible bang on the head.
"We also currently just have an ambulance at the scene and the crew are assessing the patient."
Thames Valley Police Inspector James Turner said three officers were on the scene but confirmed it had been a minor injury and the road was not blocked.
