POLICE are on the hunt for thieves who stole a tool from a parked van in an Oxfordshire village overnight on Tuesday.
An unknown person or group broke into the van in Simon's Close, Wheatley, and stole a chop saw at some point between 5pm on Tuesday and 7am yesterday.
A chop saw is a power tool with a circular blade used to make straight cuts in wood.
Police do not know how many people were involved.
Thames Valley Police have launched a witness appeal.
They have urged anybody who saw any suspicious looking people or vehicles in the area to get in touch via 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
