OXFORD students suffering from an early morning hangover have been promised a free delivery of fresh breakfast from some of the city's restaurants and cafes.

Deliveroo has partnered with Giraffe and Opera Café to give the relief for those who might be suffering from a sore head, parched mouth or bad stomach after the excesses of the night before.

Students looking to get their free delivery have to hang a Deliveroo “Do Not Disturb” hanger on their doors and a rider will bring them their breakfast while they nurse their hangover.

While this weekend will make the breakfasts freely available students in future will have to use the on-demand delivery service to order the breakfast from several of the city’s eateries at the weekend.

Jeremy Rawlinson, General Manager at Deliveroo, said: “We know that Oxford students always enjoy a night on the town after studying hard.

"We want to make the morning after a little easier so whilst students are nursing sore heads and staying wrapped in duvets, they can rest assured knowing that we’ll handle all their breakfast needs.”

Orders can be scheduled by using the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance to receive the food between 12 noon and 11pm, from a variety of local, independent restaurants.
