OXFORD’S 36th annual Green Fair will be opened by ecologist and founder of the Oxford Real Farming Conference Colin Tudge.

The fair at Oxford Town Hall on Saturday, December 3, will feature dozens of stalls selling unusual Christmas gifts, homemade lunches and local environmental groups.

The event runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm and Mr Tudge, who is also founder of the Campaign for Real Farming, will give the opening speech at 11am.

This year’s Green Fair will have an increased number of stalls featuring both handicraft traders and campaigning groups.

Alongside the usual Café, several music groups will perform during the day.

The fair is organised by Oxfordshire Green Party.
