THE John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, is to be further expanded with two multi-million pound schemes given the go-ahead.
The hospital will get a new biomedical research centre and an acute vascular imaging centre.
The facilities will both be housed in a new three-storey building between the main hospital and a new cardiac centre.
Work on the new cardiac centre is to begin later in the summer.
Construction of the new biomedical research and vascular imaging centres will follow soon afterwards with all three expected to be completed towards the end of 2008.
