A BLOOD red supermoon will cast an impressive glow across Oxfordshire on Monday as the moon will be at its closest position to earth until 2034.

Stargazers will see the biggest, brightest supermoon in almost 70 years.

A supermoon occurs when the closest side of the moon to the Earth is 226,000 miles from us.
