LAW and order is breaking out at a Didcot school, as a group of young legal minds prepare for the national final of a mock trial competition.
A team of year eight and nine pupils from St Birinus School, in Mereland Road, played the parts of magistrates, lawyers, witnesses, court staff and reporters in a regional final last month.
They are now through to the last 18 school teams, who will pit their legal arguments against each other on Saturday in Nottingham.
St Birinus events adminstrator Jill Lawrence said: "The entire team gave an outstanding performance in their court appearances."
Members of the team were Ben Bowthorpe-Weller, Thomas Cox, Michael Davey, Luke Doman, Graham Eveleigh, Clive Green, Myles Hodgson, Jamie Malone, Joshua Manning, Arnaud Mortimer, Ewan Sutherland, Christopher Wells and Ben Wigley.
Teacher Sarah Carter is pictured above with some of the members of the team.
