A fine all-round performance from Andrew Proctor could not save Banbury 3rd from defeat at Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd in Division 5.
Proctor took 4-54 in Shipton's 190 all out, which also featured 55 from Ian Lewis.
He then led with 54 not out in Banbury's reply, which fell 33 runs short.
Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd 30pts, Banbury 3rd 16 Aston Rowant 2nd went top after they conjured up a one-wicket win at Thame Town 2nd.
Put into bat, Thame managed 157-8, and then Chris Brougham (4-49) and Chris Williams (3-32) had Rowant in trouble before they scrambled over the winning line.

Stanton St John Willows slipped to their customary place at the bottom of the table after suffering an eight wicket defeat at Banbury Twenty 2nd.
Ashley Pike hit 58 and Ifran Mahmood took 4-26 in Willows' 154 all out, but Steve Partington's unbeaten 67 saw Twenty to 156-2 in the 38th over.

Aviral Gupta's 81 helped Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd set an imposing 243-7 at Bourton Vale 2nd.
But Rob Langley hit 86 and Matt Walton 42 in Vale's reply, which ended when they reached 246-7 off the second ball of the final over.

A dogged 69 from Julian Lawton Smith saw Oxford 3rd to 141-9 at Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd.
Rameez Dar took 6-60 for Town, who promptly raced to 142-4 off 28.3 overs thanks in part to Chris Wakefield (34no).
