Members of the public are being asked to help the police in their investigation after an Eynsham woman was left "devastated" by the theft of a horsebox.
Overnight between 6pm on Tuesday, April 26 and Wednesday, April 27, offenders entered a yard at a property in Cassington Road.
The Bateson Deauville 550P horsebox was kept in an enclosure and was chained up overnight securing to the floor.
The thieves got into the enclosure and stole the horsebox, which had been secured, before driving straight through a wooden fence with it to make their escape.
The horsebox contained about £2,000 worth of riding equipment, as well as two blue hydraulic trolley jacks used to manoeuvre it in and out of the yard.
Investigating officer PC Ross Clarkson of Witney Police Station said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have information around the theft to come forward and speak to the police.
"The victim is devastated that the horsebox has been stolen and I would like to try and reunite the victim with her property."
Anyone with information should contact PC Clarkson via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
