Drivers in Witney were facing queues into the town centre this afternoon after an ambulance stopped in Bridge Street to help an 81-year-old woman.
Queues were mounting westbound along Oxford Hill, as paramedics attend to somebody in the street.
One driver said he queued for 40 minutes through the town.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "We attended Bridge Street at 15.58 today.
"An 81-year-old lady had collapsed and she has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital."
