SPRING officially arrived in Oxfordshire this weekend as the sun shone and children enjoyed meeting new arrivals.
Families flocked to the Earth Trust's Hill Farm at Little Wittenham, near Didcot, for its annual lambing weekend.
Asking lots of questions about the sheep was Ellie Golding, three, who said she had a great time.
Her mum, Adel, said: "We came all the way from Ealing for the lambing because this is the first time Ellie has really been aware of what's going on around her and the first year she could take it all in.
"She absolutely loves animals so it was a great chance for her to see the lambs and play with the pigs and she was so gentle and sweet with them.
"She had a wonderful time and we've decided we're going to bring her back every year now because it was that good."
The event also featured activities such as face-painting and arts and crafts.
Hill Farm is owned by environmental education charity The Earth Trust.
