An unmarked police vehicle was one of five cars to be damaged in a crash this morning on the A4074 in Nuneham Courtenay.
The five car pile up caused delays for communters this morning tailing back to the Golden Balls roundabout.
Charlotte Redman, a spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said: "We were called to a road traffic collision at 8.04am on the A4074.
"It was a five vehicle rtc, and it was just the vehicles that are damaged.
"One of those vehicles was an unmarked police vehicle.
"I think all the vehicles have now been removed."
Drivers also faced congestion this morning on the A34, B4017 and B4015.
It has been reported that traffic was moving very slowly on the A34 southbound from Junction 9 of the M40 to Weston on the Green.
Commuters are also facing tailbacks on the B4017 north of Drayton.
Temporary traffic lights are causing delays due to the main water works.
